TAOS - Concept Art for Short Movie

Concept art and preproduction work for "TAOS - The Alchemy of the Storm", a global collaborative short film created by artists over several months.

The project kicked off with a competitive first phase focusing on characters, environments, and props based on a brief. During this phase, I entered the character design challenge, developing the '404s,' the 'Mysterious Man,' a drone, and my personal favorite: the 'Demon Pope.' While I initially envisioned him piloting a huge mecha to contrast with the protagonist, Lavina, I scaled it back to a mecha-inspired armor to keep production practical. Though that specific design didn't make the final cut, the creative journey was a blast. Out of all the entries, my concepts won alongside six other artists submissions.

In the second phase, I was assigned to preproduction tasks, including designing the initial character look for the 'Mysterious Man' from initial sketches to a final concept design. Since character design is my bread and butter, the process felt completely natural, though I definitely went through plenty of outfit variations before finally nailing the final look!
